the next step after the Enhanced Linked Mode installation is to install and configure the NSX-Managers for Cross-vCenter NSX.

Requirement

Install Cross-vCenter NSX-Manager

Agenda

1. Install DCA NSX-Manager

2. Configure initial DCA NSX-Manager

3. Install DCB NSX-Manager

4. Configure initial DCB NSX-Manager

Infrastructure Preparation

1. Create and test DNS A-Records for:
– NSX-Manager DCB

2. Prepare NTP Server or take a Public NTP Server

3. Disable Firewall between NSX-Manager and Platform Services Controller

Install/Configure DCA NSX-Manager – dca-nsx01.layer8.one

1. Deploy DCA NSX-Manager OVF

2. Configure DCA NSX-Manager
– Connect Lookup Service URL (dca-psc01.layer8.one)
– Connect to vCenter Server (dca-vcs01.layer8.one)

3. Deploy DCB NSX-Manager OVF

4. Configure DCB NSX-Manager
– Connect Lookup Service URL (dcb-psc01.layer8.one)
– Connect to vCenter Server (dcb-vcs01.layer8.one)

5. Licensing NSX for vSphere
